| Quote: 10. Tennessee Volunteers Returning secondary starters: 4 Top secondary players: Prentiss Waggner, Brent Brewer
This is probably the most surprising group on the list. The Volunteers did have some coverage issues last year, but they finished the season strong. It started with an excellent showing (only 87 passing yards allowed on 18 attempts) against a Connor Shaw-led South Carolina offense that was about to go on a terrific late-season run. Tennessee followed that up with a 110.85 passer rating allowed mark in November that ranked 20th-best in the FBS in that time frame, according to cfbstats.com.
Combine that trend with a more aggressive 3-4 scheme being implemented by new defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri and four returning starters in the secondary and it should help lead the Vols to a top-25 ranking in 2012.

| IDK about this one. The fact that it mentions BB as a top returner and says nothing about Randolph makes me even more suspicious. |

| Brewer didn't play almost half of the season, nor was he even remotely one of the top players in the secondary. Cool list bro. |
