big picture
sometimes some of the worst things that happen to you end up being turning points in sports, life, business or whatever.
We'll see. I just think we addressed things that we may not have, and other things were looked at more deeply, rather than glossing over.
If a person or coach don't take anything positive from a huge negative, it's an even bigger mistake. |

Don't know if Sal will be any better but for all we know, he could be and Wilcox might still be here had we gone 7-6 with a Kentucky/bowl win. |

| I wouldn't say it was the best thing, but this years team will benefit more from that loss than they would have a W. Coaches and players. |

Thanks to all the recruiting rankings we have now, kids are going to think they dont have to bust their ass to win since they were a 5* recruit, IMO. |

I'm not betting on it, though.
I don't think Sal will be better and I don't know that Wilcox stays either way.

| KY loss was a harbinger of 1 of 2 things. Either it will galvanize the team and they will be stronger for it, or it showed a glaring lack of character and leadership from a team that found a way to quit even with a bowl and a streak on the line. We will find out when this team gets smacked in the mouth at some point this year. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

I'm saying the team was young...thin...beat up...playing with an injured and sick QB and that if they had a few additional quality players and some decent depth they may not have been as beat up and physically drained as they appeared to be. |
