| Hunter implies, UT FOOTBALL > TRACK
Receiver Justin Hunter was asked about the Olympics currently underway in London. In response, he raised his orange UT polo to reveal his USA Track and Field shirt and said while the games weren’t far from his mind, his focus right now is football.
“I know if I had worked on it and gotten to the Olympics, I would have missed a couple of games and that wouldn’t have been best for the team,” he said.
Coming back from injury, Hunter’s thoughts were almost exclusively on the game, not the Games.
“When I got hurt, all I was thinking about was football,” Hunter said. “Track didn’t even enter my mind, it was all football.”
Gotta love the DEDICATION!! The dude probably could have been an Olympic medalist, but he chose THE TEAM!! GO VOLS!

| Football will pay the bills and provide for his son. I wouldn't go as far as saying he would probably earn a medal either.
He would have to work extremely hard just qualify for the team.
Either way, glad he's recovered well and expect big results from him this year. |

| Link or it didn't happen. If you are referring to the press conference with him and Tiny today that is not even close to how it went. It was more along the lines of, "God has a plan and I'm glad to be with the football team for camp" and " I actually have my Olympic shirt on underneath". Or maybe there is another interview you're referring to? I'm not attacking but you could tell he missed out on competing for the USA.

| I did read the thread, it says "he chose the team". He didn't choose anything. He got injured. And the OP states Justin Hunter says " football > track", which is also not true. I don't care if you want to make a post about how sweet J. Hunt is but don't misrepresent an entire situation.
