I'm still surprised at how much Bray has filled out. Looks much bigger this year

Have past teams done this type of things before, and I mean the whole team and not a few high profile players doing community outreach stuff?

Yes, this is the second year in a row the team has built a Habitat house. Mens and womens basketball built one as well.

Only so much can be done on the field, the weight room, and at the training table. Team activities such as this and the Mt LeConte hike are valuable opportunities for the team to bond and learn about each other. Intangible maybe. Valuable definitely. And, this is going to be extremely unpopular... but there is more to life than football and the staff are instilling qualities of character in these men that will last long after they play their last snap.
