What if he hadn't landed Justin Hunter and DaRick Rogers on short notice? Both of those were Dooley Hail Marys which were never coming here before he arrived. Oh wait... we had Ambles. We would have been fine. lol.

His option was to stay at LT. After their performance this year, he would have been credited with a great turnaround, impressive resume, and been in line for a better gig... a big program without the problems. | no way. Dooley would have probably got a better job in a year or two, but it wouldn't have been an SEC high profile coaching position. So, he did hit a small jack pot. However, his lack of high profile positions has played to his advantage.
Dooley has the easiest schedule in the last 4 years and he is returning most of the starters. It is a good year to prove yourself. Especialy for Dooley |

| It would be amazing to see DD win some games this season and get a full head of steam in recruiting. Once that snowball gets going, we could be in for a long and fruitful partnership with CDD. I do believe 100% that this year is make it or break it though. The proverbial fork in the road. |

| | Chalupa Batman | I just think its funny people will think DD will be fired if he wins 5 or games he won't Hart wont do it...DD is just about to start his 3rd year he still doesn't have a team he can fully call his own players he only got a 5 year contract I don't see Hart shelling out money to his contract then hiring someone else and setting UT back again...jmo |

Not sure if serious. If he only gets 5, Hart will not only fire him, he will either execute or deport him |

I continue to feely Dooley is on the right track. | Let's be candid... the reason he was hired was because he was the only one who would take the job at such a late date and Hamilton was not going to make another "risky" hire like Kiffin. Dooley was a safe bet. Dooley was not splashy and a renegade. He at least acted mature and business like.
