Can we all agree that this kid was offered to mainly to persuade his teammate? Not saying he isn't great, but I am sure we passed 50 other linebackers on our way to Hawaii with equal or better talent. My point is, I don't think that this means the Tennessee name "still has it" or "is back". Hell half of these kids were 5 or 6 years old when we were consistently winning. I think a lot of them do not look at Tennessee the way they used to. Where you see the name and instantly think of one of the elite programs in the country. Hopefully that is fixing to change! |
