Players helping Habitat for Humanity again

I believe this is the third house they've helped build this offseason. Dallas Thomas said they have really united as a team this offseason. Congrats to the guys on helping a great cause!

That is awesome and I love the idea of Habitat for Humanity.

But I have to be a debbie downer for a second... I helped build a Habitat house and I will never do it again. The people we built it for drive a brand new fully loaded Impala on 20 somethings and a brand new fully loaded Camaro on 20 somethings. Both have custom paint jobs as well. So they can spend $60k+ in 2 cars but can't afford a house...

Sorry, had to let that out. I just hope the one they are building is going towards a family that truly needs it.

That really sucks.

I worked for Habitat for a while and they really do the right things to help the community. Every once in a while a few jackasses, like the ones you mentioned above, slip through the cracks.

Glad to see the VOLS improving team chemistry/unity while working to help those who are less fortunate.

Hey, at least that is one less home the govt. didn't pay for. They did, however------ pay for the cars and wheels. There was a time when folks would be embarrased to take so much.
