let's say UT does great this year...10-2 SEC east champs or whatnot..then what? what if NEXT year they tank again with a 6-6 season? and I don't want to hear "one season at a time" because most of you on here were always saying "2012/2013..we will be back. is one winning season out of 4 enough to declare Dooley a winner that some of you are so intent on him being?

We should be fine next year...I think people put way too much into having a "stud" on offense....Our Defense should be even better next year...and that's what won it for us in '98

No. I hate the comparison , but Mike Shula did exactly that. 10 wins to 6 the next season.

All you guys? What I'm trying to say is.... we don't win this year and this isn't even a question. This is the only year that matters right now. We have proved nothing with Dooley as our coach as of 7-14-2012. If he doesn't change that this year , there will be no 2013 with him as our coach. So looking ahead means nothing at the moment. I did answer your question above , but it's really a wait and see what happens in 2012.

I see a 7 and 5 season this year..I just don't think Dooley has it to be a consistent winning coach in the SEC. sure he MAY have a good season or 2...but that's it.
