My take was mental toughness. |

just sayin.... | Our run blocking was sh!t last season no doubt, but we were fine in pass blocking. Only Alabama gave up less sacks last season than UT, and that was only by one. And that was with 3 different quarterbacks playing, which makes things a little more difficult with pass protection. |

| I've never noticed Bray to be anything other than tough in the pocket - he doesn't scramble, rarely dumps down, seems to step into his throws with consistency, doesn't take a lot of sacks at all.
However, I think McShay is spot on about the leadership aspect. If Bray shows that he has the competitive drive to be a leader this season, the sky is the limit. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Think most of us would think accuracy should be replaced with sec wins |

I've always thought he was pretty good at avoiding the pass rush and keeping his eyes upfield, stepping up etc. not sure what McShay is talking about. |

I don't think Bray has much of a problem with that, but I don't see how injury problems are implied by saying "hang tough in the pocket." If he thought he had injury problems, I think he would say something along the lines of "If he can stay healthy..."
Edit: Ok, for some reason, it only showed this part of your post originally. Guess we're on the same boat now. |

2. Bray will never win any big games against top SEC teams. Tennessee will.
3. Ask Jay Cutler how winning big games against SEC teams is intertwined with draft status. Quote:

Listen, I hope he stays for selfish reason. But I don't think it is going to happen, and if the NFL wants to pay him now, he should go. Quote:

Like I said, I have no idea what he's talking about. If I was going to knock Bray, I'd talk about him going down the field almost too much, being suspect in zone reads, a slightly long throwing motion and not having any big wins under his belt. |

Become tougher???? | I dunno...weird. Bray DEFINITELY hangs tough in the pocket. And, by all appearances, is a tough dude. He gets hit and pops back up. |

| Needs to win the big SEC games this year. Has yet to do so, of course he wasn't starting those games in 2010 and in 2011 was hurt for half of them. I like the assessment. |

I see an almost abbreviated throwing motion. |

He winds up a little and holds the ball a little low. I don't think it really hurts him but it scares me when there are a lot of hands around him. |
