Minus the last part about Strong. | If he is coming off of a 10-2 regular season (so 24-14 overall record) and Big East championship, do you think he has earned the ability to be considered?
While I'd love for us to play the "We're Tennessee, dammit!" card and buy an elite coach, I don't believe that will happen. Hopefully Hart would stay away from the NCAA-flouter route (Davis, Petrino). |

Scary day for us all, back to watching Bloodsport for me. Cya. |

Just kidding. I've never seen that movie. |

However, it is hard to see Dooley getting to 10 wins. I think 9 wins should give him another year. 10 wins would take one step towards confidence he could succeed here in the long term. |

| No I don't think he will get us back on top. Not with the caliber of coaches that are currently coaching in the SEC. I think Dooley can win here, and do it the right way, just not at a championship level. I know why we are in this mess, and it started with Fulmer. I hope Dooley is successful, I really do. I love the coaches he has hired. Quote:

We shouldn't change just for the sake of changing. We should do it only if we have the right guy lined up to take the reins. We're in this mess for a reason, and it's not all Derek Dooley's fault. | |

| Greg Schiano is one of the first reasonably realistic suggestions I've seen on here. Granted it would be tough to get him away from Tampa Bay, but I think his heart in in college football and that he would love to compete in the SEC. |
