| Hubbs on 104.5 Got this from TOS, so props to the poster over there for the updates:
Playoff- Vols Admin following closely. SEC will be vocal in fighting for what they want. Want it open for more than one team from conf.
Eric Berry looks good to go. Will have a mental hurdle. Hard on him because never been injured
Ferguson- Chaney wants a QB every class. TN brings a bunch in in June to evaluate. 8 guys last 2 weeks. like Ferguson the best. family ties in Johnson City. Bigger kid than the others evaluated. Family wanted Ferguson a vol
Zach Barnes- DE in HS but projected as LB. worked him out in 2 camps. Sal fell in love w/ him
James Stone vs Bullard. Brent was surprised Stone moved back and is snapping left handed. JS is physically stronger. Alex plays faster at Guard. Interesting this fall.
2 yrs of Ron Mac has helped the OL
Defense- Jack LB must be productive. DL is not dynamic w/ no real pass rusher so Jack is important
will see the D more aggressive w/ more blitzing. Played too soft last yr due to DB's |

| We have to be able to get some pressure on the QB this year...going to be absolutley key that we can create some negative big plays.

| Pass rush is what makes most corners look good. Except for the elite corners of course. |

| If we get some pressure on the QB and a running game we will be tough to deal with.

| Again with the left handed snapping? In all my years playing and watching football, I never once heard of a need to snap in such a way as to get the spiral going a certain direction. Why is this such a big deal? It is not a natural action for the center, thus we get horrible snaps under pressure. Too much tinkering with tiny little unimportant things. Instead of working so hard on snapping with the non-dominant hand, they should go back to regular snapping and use the extra time to improve run blocking. |

The whole left handed snapping was an epic failure at gainseville last year. If they do it again and it screws up the UF game I'm going to find someone's dog and kick it. Its bad enoug that it already happened, not learning from it will be even worse. |

I played center from little league up to hs and i dislocated my thumb on my snapping hand my freshman year. They tried to get me to snap lefty it was tough for shotgun snaps but under center was no prob. As long as the ball is hitting the qb in the numbers in some what of a spiral I dont see the reason to switch it up? |

| Wasn't Stone the one that always snaps too low or is that Bullard? We can't have Tyler picking the ball off the ground every play. I really don't understand this move. |

| James Stone is a lefty. In 2010, when he took over, he was snapping left handed and had very few if any bad snaps. Last season, they asked him to learn how to snap right handed and it didn't take. They are correcting a problem if anything. |

They don't even know what they're talking about but they know more than the coaches.

They tried to get him to switch to help him prepare for the NFL better. It didn't work, so they're going back to what does work. |
