I don't understand how the top two paid athletes are boxers. Almost everyone I know watches football. And I can understand how tennis and soccer dominate the global market.

How will we ever beat that to get him to coach here?

I kid, I kid.

I'm surprised his endorsements are only $10 million, Rebook, Sprint, Oroe cookie, ESPN, Mastercard are some I know he does and probably missed few others.

PPV money plus price of tickets add up quick in a boxing match. Mayweather takes 60 pct of each fight. So he is going to make quite a bit just from the fight. Then throw in endorsements.

“Money” Mayweather is the world’s highest-paid athlete, thanks to mega paydays for fights against Victor Ortiz ($40 million) and Miguel Cotto ($45 million). He has been a part of the four biggest non-heavyweight pay-per-view events in boxing's history. Mayweather maximizes his earnings by also acting as his own fight promoter through his company Mayweather Promotions.

in 2 fights he made 85 million dollars! 2 fights!

this is a little misleading to me, its not based on salarys but mainly endorsements.

This. Tiger Woods makes $55 million in endorsements and Manning only makes $10 million? I don't get it.

Is that 55 million after he lost a bunch of his endorsements? Either way, thats a pretty sweet lick.
