| Thousands of rankings out there. This is why I agree with Steve Spurrier rankings shouldnt take place until everyones played a game. Right now Alabama, USC, Tennessee and Duke etc.... Are all undefeated. Hence why The Ol Ball Coach ranks Dookies 25th in every preseason vote. Its a joke. Noone knows how a season is going to turnout. Auburn 04 & 10 and Vols 98 & 05 are prime examples. | |

But even before then, he did it as a nod of thanks/respect towards Duke for giving him his first head coaching job...not as a "this thing's a silly, stupid joke" move
