| I grew up watching the Vols with my Grandad, and UT's midfield logo was a beautiful T interlocking with a U. I just thought that those two letters blended so perfectly together. It just sucks that Texas uses it. I mean I have a bad ass handmade belt buckle made by my Grandfather,and a gold chain with the same old school style. And, I would never say that it stands for Texas. Tennessee is the real UT. | |

Represents the Volunteers, you know, those hicks that volunteered to fight in the War of 1812 and in the Texas Revolution and basically helped form the state boundaries of a good deal of the Southern states.
