|  Worst loss in Tennessee history?
I was having an arguement with my friend about this topic. I said Alabama in 2007 was a worse loss than the Memphis loss in 1997. Dont judge me i think the Vols will win 10 games this year. I am not a Nega-Vol. I just wanna know what the worst loss in Tennessee history is. |

| 96 loss to Memphis was the worst based on the team we had. Of course others like the losses to Duke, Wyoming or N Texas will probably enter the discussion | |

| Most disappointing to me was the 44-3 or whatever drubbing we took in HWalker's freshman year.
KY 2011 is about 20th on my list, if that was your question. I can think of loads worse losses in terms of how I felt afterward. | |

| In my lifetime without question it was the 2001 SEC Championship game.
The second worst was the absolute butt-kicking we received in 1997 against Nebraska! | |
