| | Senior Member | USC 09 Halloween game Black Jerseys Have been a vols fan since the Manning Era, but didn't start going to the games till 09.
First game I went to was the best so far.
UT USC game on Halloween in 09
The place was electric when they came out in the Black Jerseys!
Not to mention it was the last time we beat them I believe (sad thought). Hope we change that this year. |

| Only been to one. 2009 Vandy. Last game in Neyland for Crompton, Hardesty, Berry, Stocker, and others. Herman Lathers' first start. 13 Tackles.
Edit: last game in Neyland for Kiffin, too...

| I was at great win over Miami in Sugar Bowl ... but the first one I thought of was beating Bama in K-town in '82.

| Home - toss up b/t 1998 Florida and 2004 Florida
Away - 2003 Bama 5 OT classic
IMO greatest college game ever (watched on tv and doesn't involve the Vols) - 2006 OK vs. BSU |

| Ive only been to one home game, 09 South Carolina (the blackout), and it was great even though it rained.
I went to all the away games vs bama from 94-99 when my fam had season tix to bama games. the people sitting near them every week were always confused when I showed up with them lol.
I was also at the 97 & 98 SECCG's, those were fun, but was also at the 01 SECCG when LSU beat us, that sucked. |

| Home - I've never enjoyed any game more than '82 vs #2 ranked Alabama (35-28). Finally snapping the 11 game losing streak, Bear Bryant's last year of coaching, being a part of the student section as a sophomore, Chuck Coleman sprinting toward the endzone and pointing right up at my section as he breaks away, goal posts torn down and carried out of the stadium, euphoria all weekend on campus. Away - I've only been to one away game, and it was awful...'81 vs Kentucky (10-21). Miserable game, miserable snowy weather which we weren't prepared for. Just plain terrible. Neutral - The only neutral site game I've been to so far was the '94 Gator Bowl vs Virginia Tech (45-23). Peyton's freshman season, played at the Swamp (yes, he DID win a game in that stadium afterall!), dominant performance against a pretty good football team. However, I hope the UT vs NC St game that I'm attending surpasses this one as a great neutral site game. |

| Home Game
2002 - UT / Arkansas - UT Wins in 6 Overtimes! Had seats on the 15 yard line across the way facing the Students section. They played the entire overtime on our end of the field so we might as well have had 50-yard line seats. Gut wrenching at times, but what a finish! Away Game
2003 - UT at Miami in the Orange Bowl - ending their 28 game win streak at home... Sat 2 rows in front of Anthony Munoz. Shook his hand after the game and told him it was great to have his son Michael wearing the Orange.

| the 2004 UF game where Wilhoit kicked a 51 yarder after missing an extra point in front of 109,000 (the largest crowd it looks like Neyland will ever see) was incredible.
Road game... it would have to be a tie between the comeback in 05 against LSU with Rick Clausen or the comeback at UGA where we ended hanging 50 on the dawgs, in think in 06. |
