| | The Bull3tspung | I'm really not understanding how the police mishandled it. They got a call from OIT at UT that a laptop that was flagged for stolen was being used in the campus wifi, showed up in the area, found a kid using said laptop, and arrested him. Sounds like they did their job. |

If they raided his apt on a weekly basis that's one thing, but showing up to a call in the line if duty and just letting it ride is another |

You also didn't explain what you would prefer UTPD had done or how this was the result of any antagonistic relationship between UTPD and UT athletes. | Trust me, he doesn't want to see what a "breakdown of the relationship" would really look like and the effects it would have on the program should the PD declare open season. |

As for owning a computer that can do EVERYTHING AND MORE of what another computer can do...you just made the case for owning a Mac.

This kind of stuff happens in Gibbs all the time, and this is the one that gets publicized. I'm sure it's just the roll of the dice in some aspects, but this should have been handled a little quieter is all I'm getting at. It's not like he went to Pilot and held someone up for a cheeseburger.

| "There have been several key team members over the years that have done this exact same thing, just wasn't publicized like this has been"
Didn't know we have had a huge problem with athletes stealing over there? Fights sure, but stealing not so much. |

Interesting | That information is always out there......just so happens Cam is a UT football player so people actually give a rip. He shouldnt get any more protection from release of information than any other student at UT who would be arrested. |

There are multiple DUI arrests a day but which ones get the media attention? In todays social media world nothing gets swept under the rug. |

he was arrested on campus anyway so it would have shown up in the crimelog. No one is safe from that one |
