This is not a "Fire Dooley" thread...........104.5 the zone in Nashville this morning talking about Bobby Petrino as being the replacement for Dooley at years end........Why? Resume? Even with his "proven" record, could we chance this douche if Dooley fails? Listen, I'm behind Dooley 110% I still think he can get it done!!! Mark Howard in particular was the one going on and on about Petrino. Let's play hypothetical and say Petrino were at UT, what a mess and deeper hole his shenanigans would have us in...............

I hope we aren't having this conversation at the end of the year because if we are, it means we had another bad year. Therefore, I hope Dools is the coach for a long long time.

If this year goes poorly though, the shelves are much better stocked than when Dooley came so I think more "big name" coaches will listen and we'd have a much better chance of landing one, and not settling for someone with the baggage that Petrino brings.

If they hired Petrino I might have to turn in my fan card.
