They only need to know that to develop their game plan. | I agree that the coaches don't dwell on injuries; I wouldn't want them to. The fact of the matter is I don't know much about the injury Franklin suffered or the surgery he had. If it's an injury with lingering effects and Berkstresser is gone, that's a pretty significant problem. That was what I was curious about. What is Franklin's situation? Did Berkstresser have other issues before his arrest? I don't know the answers and I'm not finding much online. I was just curious if someone else did know. |

They expect him back for the start of the season, but it's not certain, ATP. I had read another article earlier that said a player in a similar circumstance as Berkstresser had been dismissed from the team last year I believe. |

As much bad luck as we've had, I'll be just fine if this happens to every QB we're scheduled to face. This whole "i want to face them at their best" thing is fine and all, but no one opposing fan said that to me last year. Nope, they all wanted to rub it in, that we didn't have Hunter and Bray.
Frig 'em. I hope they all get depleted by injuries and off-the-field issues. I'll not shed a single crocodile tear for them.
Not this year.

Not this year. | I understand the sentiment. I just know that we would be laughing if Worley got busted and we stumbled across a Mizzou website wondering if it would help their season. |

| I hear Franklin is a talented qb, and I know all qbs are in the crosshairs and tend to get dinged up. But I confess I know virtually nothing about the rest of Missouri's supporting cast, and even a good qb is only a fraction of the team. ???

Why? No one has beat us at our healthiest anytime in the last few seasons. |

If people would only reverse the headline to see if it's reaction worthy.... UT Backup QB Arrested!...I didn't want list a name as this is just for illustration purposes.
I doubt that would get Vol fans worked up much less make it on an opponents message board. |
