Football Grades

Anyone one got any inside info on how our football players are doing in the classroom. I read the article that stated we have several on probation. The reality is that we usually lose one or two...but we cannot afford to lose anyone!

Hubbs has stated that the expectation is that everyone has had a much better semester than the fall. It will probably be another week before we hear anything.

I believe summer courses will count as well, so hopefully () that'll help us out.

I hope they're all studying 14 hours a day.

8 on classroom and 6 on their playbook.

That will have them ready for both things and keep them out of trouble too.

Once you get past the propaganda, you see it for what it really is. UT is no better or no worse than any other major program. Every major school has academic casualties because some of the kids are there only for football and a good time. There are others that are more well rounded and dedicated. You rarely hear about them. Kind of like life in general. Serious and superficial.

That's why programs like Bama, LSU, USCw, Texas, Ohio State, etc. stay on top. Money, power, and influence gives some of the top talents their best shot at the NFL.

I think it is common for grades to be worse in the fall than the spring, more focus on football. The truth is, as stated above, we will probably lose one or two. Just the way it is. There a certain spots that would really hurt though. I hope we can avoid this. Dooley has done a good job getting higher character guys, so I think things will work out.

I know a positive attitude. I assure you I am not drinking this morning.... yet.

From what it appears on campus they sure don't seem to be giving a damn. That being said, its still got to be better than last semester.

Semester ends today so we should know in about a week

Finals end today. The professors have to have grades in by Friday so expect UT to release a report early next week.
