| Are you now a Bronco fan? My love for college fb is far above all other sports. UT is not only my favorite team, it is part of who I am. I hurt when we lose and an absolute happiness is within when we win.
I love football but do not feel the same way about any team. I cheer for all our NFL Vols. It is different with Peyton as I did become a Colts fan so now I am a Bronco fan. I never felt a strong tie to the Titans. I understand that can be considered as "bandwagon" esque. Since Denver has a few Vols playing for them my bond to them is that much stronger.
To my question. How many of you, that weren't Bronco fans, are now rooting for Denver? Some are probably going to be negative but am I the only one on VN that feels this way? |

| No, once they leave UT and go to any other team not named the Titans I really don't care about them. Especially if they go to rivals. |

| That is where I differ from many and maybe most of the posters here. I am a Peyton Manning fan. I will pull for HIM to do well and by proxy, the Broncos. The "team" concept in professional sports is gone. I don't pull for an organization such as "The Titans", "The Broncos", etc. The only exception is Green Bay as the town owns them and they are truly a TEAM and not an owner with a bunch of temps playing for him. Folks like Chipper Jones are one in several thousand now. Therefore, I am a fan of the player and not his particular team if that makes ANY sense what so ever. |

I would throw Boston in there as well for prof sports. I love Green Bay and how they love their team. |

You're not a Broncos fan, you're a Peyton fan. My teams haven't changed in decades and probably never will. I pick a team and stick with them through thick and then. I want PM to do well and will root for him every time as long as it's not against my preferred teams.

I pull for the TEAM and not PM alone. I will watch the TEAM and not just PM. |

| I'm with you. I pulled for the Cowboys as a kid, but stopped being a fan the day they hired Jimmy Johnson to replace Tom Landry as head coach. Haven't rooted for any particular NFL team since. I follow the former Vols in the league and like to see them succeed. I pulled for the Colts while Peyton was there and will hope to see the Broncos win this season. |

| I've been a Bronco fan since the days of Elway. I have renewed interest now. On the other hand i no longer care about the Colts at all.
I agree with the concept that more and more will follow their favorite player wherever he goes than just follow a specific team (exception being those with geographic ties) |
