B/R: Predicting Vols upset Bama in 2012 SIAP

I know it's Bleacher Report and Michael Taglienti provides no justification really for the prediction but it's Spring and everyone is undefeated at this point.

SIAP and merge if necessary.

"The one team besides LSU that can beat the Tide in 2012 would be Tennessee. The Vols have been held back the past two years by injuries to their quarterback, Tyler Bray.

Tennessee gets Alabama in Knoxville, and if Bray is healthy, the Vols should give the Tide a huge test in a rivalry game for both schools."

I strongly doubt it, but wouldn't complain if we did pull the upset.

"Vanderbilt beating Tennessee may be an upset in some fans' minds, but if Tyler Bray is out for Tennessee again, then the line will probably favor Vanderbilt, so it will not be considered an upset."

Is he smoking crack. Vandy beating Tennessee will always be an upset and not in some fans minds but all minds across the country that follow college football.

I dont think the article states that they are "predicting" that we beat bammer, just that there is a chance.

Sorry, I guess it was the title "Predicting upset losses for Texas A & M and every other SEC team" that threw me off. Since the article says that the Tide will be favored in every game save LSU I assumed after putting two and two together that the upset they were predicting must be Tennessee.

Anyway, the whole thing lacks substance but it's what I like to see on a Friday morning in the Spring!

GBO!

I guess it is a done deal. No need to go to the game if I know the outcome! GO BIG ORANGE!

Essentially, yeah. It's not like Hyams or Travis or most of the other media moguls have much better credibility, though.
