He obviously wasn't ready for the UT job, but I still hold out a modicum of hope that the last two years have provided him with enough on-the-job learning to make him good. Or at least significantly better. |

It's hilarious to watch people twist and turn and try to reason out why Tennessee hasn't been a good team for awhile.

If you're in your 4th year and can't win without the QB Lane left you, that's a problem. Really like to think it doesn't come to that, but chances are not small. |

I do think he's never going to shut down like the end of last year again. That's a mistake you don't make twice. |

Good to know. |
Not what I said. It just appears that most of the dipchit commentary comes from those who didn't. |

Pete Carroll is a moron that is more of a cheerleader than a football coach, yet he has 2 national championships because he played to his strengths. He mainly focused on recruiting which is something that he was good at. Dooley has shown that he can evaluate talent finding players like Brian Randolph and Jordan Williams, and we are sitting in a good position with many top 100 recruits right now we just have to win. Plus things are setting up such that if we win this year the 2014 class will be one of the most talented classes we have ever brought in. |

To say he was only a "cheerleader" is ridiculous. |
