This is the reason I like it.. It annoys the hell out of opposing fans... I'm all for making them feel bad if they're on our hill.

Me either. When did the woo start. I don't remember woo in the late 70's, could be wrong.

Love the checkerboard endzones, love the power T, hate the woo. I DON'T sing the woo in Rocky Top, EVER. I would like to start substituting it with "BOOM".

The Power T is ok. I do miss the interlocking U-T symbol.

The Checkerboards are cool. Wouldn't mind a thin checkerboard along the sidelines, in fact.

I am old school, not anti-progress/change. I even enjoyed the black jerseys (which are actually REALLY old school).

Screaming a high pitched 'woo' in the middle of a fight song.......not so cool. High pitched 'woo's belong in voicing approval for contestants in drag queen contests, pre-adolescent teen girls screaming for the latest pop heartthrob, or if you are Ric Flair. It doesn't belong in Tennessee football, imo.

Edit: I see many of my thoughts were already voiced/mentioned. I, too, have a Checkerboard border on the walls of my man cave (along with Tennessee orange walls, A UT scoreboard clock, pictures of my daughters in various UT clothing, my framed 1998 National Championship ticket, framed newspapers declaring UT the Natty Champs in '98, and green carpet to simulate Shields-Watkins Field. There's more UT stuff that I haven't mentioned.)
