| If my wife and father-in-law (fine folks) weren't Vandy fans, I might make fun of Vandy 24/7 ... especially if I lived in Nashville.

Btw, im 25 years old and the first time i saw a real life vandy fan was at the game last year. I felt like steve irwin finding some elusive animal. I wanted to tackle one of them and pin them down so i could explain their losing characteristics to my buddies, all the while telling the vandy fan "its ok little fella" in my best croc hunter voice. | ^Now that's funny! |

I have a very immense hatred of Vandy... |

I don't get any pleasure in it...but they certainly love to shove their academic prowess in our faces every time you even mention UT. I literally almost had a come apart the other day at work when a co-worker said "your fans are a bunch of inbred hillbillies..." to which I responded..."Where the **** did you go to school again? ....TSU? Congratulations, you didn't make it into Vanderbilt, just like 90% of the 4,000 fans who show up to Dudley."
Do we have obnoxious fans? Of course, everyone does, but the holier than thou routine with Vandy fans....lets just say they deserve quite some of the backlash. | This. Can't wait for us to donkey punch them this year.
What's sad is before these last couple of years every Vol fan I know wish Vandy the best against everyone but UT. They spent their 'We feel sorry for you' points these last two years. |

| Yes, you have to have grown up around Nashville to get it. If you had gone to a Vandy basketball game at Memorial Gym in the 80s or early 90s, you'd definitely understand.

| Growing up in Cookeville i never even thought about them, but after moving to Nash in 04 i've grown to loathe them.
Not because i feel threatened in the least.
First of all seeing the entitled trust fund douches walking around here like theyve done something started it. Some people just need a swift punch in the throat to ground them.
Trust me, these douches need a thousand throat punches.(After getting up from the punch they would prolly say, "you know my dad invented throat punches and owns a yacht called Throat Punch off the coast of Carolina")
I think the biggest thing has been Clay(tugjob)Travis talking about vandy like theyre the next Boise. All the while dangling from Franklins balls.
Vandy and its so called fans suck, real bad. |

| My punk-azz brother-in-law is doctor in Nashville, went to Vandy and they were always Vandy fans ... until a few yrs ago when Florida won it all ... then they claimed they had always been Florida fans.

I wish I had a dollar for every story I've heard about a Vandy that ends that way. |
