Wilson vs Bray

For those who put some stock in Spring games........AND for those who think Tyler Wilson will be exposed this year....

Wilson threw for 467 yds, 404 in the first half alone...........without Joe Adams, without Greg Childs, without Joe Adams....................and without Bobby Petrino calling the plays. Just for some perspective. Bray has a ways to go....just sayin

I think Bray has some of the physical tools but he needs to be a smarter quarterback.

One example is when it's 3 down and 25 with 50 seconds to go to win/tie the game and you have a timeout left, you don't necessarily need ALL 25 yards, just get at least 10 yards and then you can get the rest on 4th.

But I still think Bray can get better.

Wilson has experienced his best year already. Not his fault, he's a decent qb. Arky will struggle this season.

not the same offense and Petrino churns out qb's

Bray does have a way to go as he is a true jr and hasn't played a full year yet. I wouldn't expect him to peak as a sophomore behind a sophomore line with soph wr's.

That said, Bray's biggest concern right now might be Chaney, imo.

Not sure of their format in their spring game, but most teams go 1's vrs 2's. Bray went against our 1st team D.

Too early to say anything

I'm not sure how Arkansas' defense is this year but Bray's performance could be a testament to our d this year....it also could be a testament to his ability...no one really knows

An interesting fact is Tennessee didn't play four full quarters like Arkansas did and I'm not sure if wilson played against his first team d so those could also play be factors

Just impossible to take anything like that from yesterday

Arkansas arguably has the worst defense in the SEC...

Plus its a spring game that Arkansas desperately needed to show the fans that the offense will still be great without Petrino.

Arkansas went 1's vs. 2's. The score was 65-0. It was designed to make the starters look good. I'd like to know if they were playing 15 minute quarters, because we were doing 10 minute quarters.

Also, we were working on the running game yesterday. Not to mention Bray didn't have a good receiver besides Da'Rick.
