| What got me about the whole day was the couple outside after the game that was getting everything but their underwear signed....I think had they not been charged with something they would have probably thrown down their pants and got them signed too. I enjoy getting autographs with my daughter but holy cow that was craziness...

No reason an adult needs to stand in line to get an autograph just in hopes that one day they can sell it for a profit on Ebay
I took my kids in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, we got in line at 8:00am. There was probably 100 in line already. We waited for 2 hours and 45 minutes. When we got in, we went straight to Dooleys line. The kids wanted his signature the most. As we are standing there, some jackass walks up and tries to break line, holding a helmet. I politely proceeded to tell him that he wasnt about to break line in front of all of us who had waited now for over 3 hours. The rest around us agreed. So jackass stepped off and waited. About that same time, a parent that had a child in a wheelchair came up. I kindly let them in line in front of us. Needless to say that jackass was left holding his helmet.
It appeared that he had tried it in other lines and left without one signature.
Just like most things, adults try to ruin it for the kids

| the vast majority are not looking to do that. Check out some of the "mancave" threads for proof. You are making ahuge leap to assume that adults seeking signatures are doing it only for profit. For many this may be their only time to see a game, interact with players/coaches, etc. To try and deny that based on some perception you have is a little stupid |

After 30 minutes in line yesterday, my boys (9 and 12) gave up. So we went to the Strip to get a bite to eat (a whole new thread needed for that). | I agree. Kids enjoy this kind of stuff. I don't wear jerseys to games but it is a non issue with me. Life is too short to stress out over anything let alone silliness.

| Dooley signed a photo for my family at a BOC event, so we went to the coordinator's table. Autographs in my Spring Game Program (which is a pretty good picture book):
Sal didn't have a whole lot to say. Chaney convinced my boys to root for white...and they did, the entire game. Made their day.
I know there are other autographs on here, but the only one I can see is Jay Graham.
Nothing was cooler than the pics on the field, but it was nice meeting Jay Grah...I mean...the coaching staff. |
