After reading through every post again, that is what was said but upon initial reading, that is not what was taken from the posts. As far as "adipose tissue" goes, don't insult the folks on here, we know what it is. I just wonder why you had to go to the dictionary to get a word when something like "fat ass bammer" would have done? That is all.

I agree totally on Noonan, but at that time, the guards and centers were coming in around the 250 - 275 lb range on average. Not in the 300 - 330 lb range they do today. Point well taken though. Nasty and mean are desired qualities that can overcome some weight disadvantage. Last I heard Mt. Mac was in the 370 to 380 range at 6'6 - 6'7". I just hope he can move well enough, but most importantly, not be moved.

Noonan stunted on every play. He was too short to see over the O line to know what was going on. If you were the center, you hoped that nobody on your line moved early or Noonan would put you flat on your back with a free shot.

He was FUN to watch.

(actually his Freshman year, we focused on him during Kickoffs. Back then, we seemed to Kick off more often)
