| We interrupt the Tebowmania to get back to the real subject of "Tiny"
I really hope our gentle giant has a serious nasty streak on the field.
I also hope he passes around the nasty pill to all our other players.
I keep hearing our coaches talking about getting more physical and I hope our players learn that we have to dominate every play, every second and for the entire game if we want the big Wins in the SEC.
Game 1 we start with the ACC and I hope we see serious physical and butt kickings all over the field and a big WIN.
Game 2 we correct mistakes from game 1, get a huge lead and let our younger players on the field to have some fun, polish their skills and get gametape to get them better.
Game 3 we're off in the SEC against the floriDUHHH gayturds and it's time to BRING THE HOUSE, get mean and nasty and to DOMINATE and show floriDUHHH and the rest of the world that Tennessee football is on a serious road back with a 38 to 17 Win over the gayturds.
Tiny...Your mission is set, get our entire team ready to rock with a serious nasty streak and a never quit Big Orange attitude that we're going to dominate every play in every game this entire season.
Go get em big man!

| Reggie White was a man of God. He showed it on and off the field and was highly respected by coaches, players, and fans. There are many ways 2 show your service. I am not in a place 2 judge a man and where he is spiritually with his maker. Tim Tebow is Tim Tebow i do not praise him like some ppl, bc he's just a man. I admire him for standing on what he believes in and understand that no one is perfect, not even Tebow; which the media makes it look like he is. Some of the things he does probably doesn't help, but then again who are we 2 judge....lol! |

I believe most of us think Peyton is a really good guy and would be offended if someone said otherwise. Because he is a terrific football player is irrelevant. You guys that beat up on Tebow are really barking up the wrong tree. Can't you ever just let the good guy stay in the spotlight rather than the T.O.'s or Albert Haynesworths in the world. It has been stated correctly several times already by the gator trolls on our board that it's not him but rather the media and all the sports fans that keep him on the front page all the time.
Mark it down, he will be the starter for the Jets. He's an average QB at best, but makes up for it with leadership. The best I've ever seen, period.
I probably won't read your negative replies. Go Tiny, kill the gators. | Great post. Agreed. |

| The Tiny mission...
Step 1...Knock a D lineman on his butt.
Step 2...Knock a LB on his butt.
Step 3...Knock a S on his butt.
Step 4...Stop and catch your breath as you watch our RB keep on going and get ready to do steps 1 through 3 again and again.
Tiny the tank needs to keep on rolling.

I probably won't read your negative replies. Go Tiny, kill the gators. | Not going to be super negative man, but I really don't think the majority of people are bashing him because of his faith. It's how the media virtually parades it around. It's all fine and dandy with all the "I'm a virgin" and praying to the lord after big plays, but for quite frankly a below-average quarterback from a pure quarterbacking standpoint, he should not be this popular. If he was the NFL MVP and had a Super Bowl ring, go ahead and interview him till your heart is content. There are much better players out there with his faith that don't get shoved down the public's throat. For your argument's sake, Peyton Manning has done a ton of charitable work and has still not had a scandal in the 14 years he has been in the NFL. He has a SB ring, and more NFL MVP awards than any QB in history. He still does not get as flaunted as Tebow. Hell, the biggest story this offseason, and rightfully so, was where Peyton Manning was going to end up. Even that got shadowed by the fact that he sent Tebow to the Jets. And I'm not saying it's all Tebow's fault, either. While personally from watching him I believe that while is a (supposed) man of genuine faith, he also has the IQ of a rock. A rock with great passion and moral codes. IMO he would be more at home if he decided to become an international Evangelist, because it will take years to get his technique into a serviceable status. Even then, he just doesn't have the mental tools to be a football legend at QB.
The point is, most people, even those that are religously sound don't want it shoved into their face like that. Even more so from a (up to this point) sup-par player. I am no saint, I have sinned a lot in my life, and I know it. Shoot, I lost my virginity at 15. Even so, I am still at peace with God. I still don't appreciate what Tebow has become. I don't hate the man. I just hate what he has come to symbolize. And that is over-the-top zealousness. If I remember right the Bible preaches us to be tolerant and respectful of other's faiths. It's not very respectful to almost force your religion into the national media in a country known for respecting all religions. If it's uncomfortable for most Christians to have him and his faith so in our face, imagine how uncomfortable it is for the millions of non-christians who are also football fans.

| Oh btw, looking forward to watching the Tiny-Clowney showdown. Also sorta hoping Young bulks up more during the summer, cause he has the tools to be something special.

No teammates have come out and said it's fake. I mean people ratted out Greg Williams, you think they wouldn't sell a story to tabloids? Brady Quinn did an interview *****ing about him, but I don't think it covered his religion.
I think if the persona was fake it'd be outted quick. |

| I think the issue with Tebow is that people tend to make him a symbol of either their own faith or lack thereof. If he fails or succeeds has nothing to do with my personal life, but I think people on both sides of the debate look to his performance to validate their own beliefs. It doesn't help that people can argue both sides because of his great win/loss and bad stats.
I'm with those who think he is going to be exposed as not a great QB if he stays in the spotlight, but until he is, who cares? Let him sink or swim on the field.
I am excited about TINY though and the depth in our OL in general. I can't wait for us to bring out four fresh, big, mean guys mid way through the third quarter when the game is on the line and just let them pave the way until the clock runs out. Real competition in these positions means real depth and I'm hoping to watch our OL just ruin teams this year. |
