I'd pay $100+ to see us end the streak in person. | uh yeah. When i was 17, I paid for a lot of stuff. But when you get older and have kids, you make choices. Revisit this thread in 10 years and I promise you wouldn't be saying that.

If it's your choice then why have any anger directed at the UTAD? |

| I'll be payin' about 40-50 bucks, for a nose bleed seat around 20 minutes to kickoff. Don't think I can do it. I've done it for every game I've gone to. When we played SC a few years ago, me and my brother got seats for free on the 45 yard line some guy was giving away. People will always want to sell a couple of tickets before a game and $50 is better than nothin', even for Florida and Bama. So go ahead and pay whatever now for a ticket, I'll scoop up something cheaper later. When you have 100,000+ tickets, there will always be a couple layin' around someone wants to unload. In fact last year, I had to pay more for a scalped Appy State game vs. UTC ($25) in Boone, than for UT-Cincy ($20). But then again I had to seach high and low for a scalper for the Appy-Moc game, in Knoxville there were 100's of people selling tickets. Supply vs. Demand.

I'd pay $100+ to see us end the streak in person. | Living at home, free room and board (or at school on mom and/or dad's dime) without having to pay for anything. The very fact that you would make that statement should have you banned from this thread.
It is absolutely ridiculous! This on top of charging the students for tickets also. And they want to pay the student athletes a stipend??????? When they do that, double your donation requirements and also get ready for $160 a seat. Talk about an empty stadium!
I will just stay home and watch it on my big screen for $35, drink beer and eat cheap hotdogs.
Edit: 62" DLP!! (7 years old btw)
Edit-2: And before anyone or the mods jump me, some of us don't have the choice to pay $100 a seat for the family to go ($400 for my family). If I was living on someone else's dime, I wouldn't talk about how much I would pay to go for a single seat.

We have a right to complain about prices the same way you have the right to pay them. I had season tickets until Hamilton decided that they wanted to convert mine to boxes. Even though our tickets were grandfathered, it didn't make a difference. Cough up the big bucks or drop the tickets. |
