| Nah. The best that we can look foward to will be what South Carolina is today. A fairly good team that has the potential to slip up and beat other fairly good teams. That is until Saban and Miles try the Pros again and if Richt and others stay. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Once we start winning again the power Ts will mysteriously reappear. Alot like the bammers have came out in recent years.
I follow the Titans, Braves and Preds but im a TENNESSEE VOLS FAN above all else!
We have suffered through some rough years, but its gonna make it that much sweeter when we find ourselves back at the top.
As for the yankee, punch him in the throat and tell him to go back north. Im proud to be a hillbilly. A hard working, honest people that love the land they live on. Theres nothing negative about it. |

The only difference between these programs right now is UF getting lucky as hell when Meyer came up the ranks and Fulmer becoming lazy after 2001. If Ainge didn't wet the bed in 2005 we win the national championship, Fulmer gets #2, buys himself a few more years, and this talk and/or cockiness coming from other schools doesn't exist. Period.
Other than that we have rich history that Florida only dreams they could have.
Welcome to mediocrity, you'll be there awhile. Worst coach in the SEC? Muschamp. Thug players? Check.
See you in 20 years when Florida is relevant again. | dude, going through tennessee was about as difficult as a tank going through an orange traffic cone that season. |

You obviously need to read up on Tennessee's history because you clearly don't know just how special this place is. Here are some fun facts for you:
Only two teams in NCAAF have never had an eight loss season. One of them is Ohio State the other is Tennessee.
Tennessee is ranked 9th in total program wins with an all time record of 785-339. That is just one spot behind Alabama. In those same rankings, Tennessee ranks ahead other national powers like Southern Cal, Georgia, LSU and Florida. To put that in perspective, South Carolina has a current win total of 555-542. Thats really bad. In addition, Tennessee claims 6 national titles, 16 conference titles and 38 consensus all-Americans. By comparison, South Carolina can claim 1 conference title (in the ACC), 0 national titles and 3 consensus all-Americans. There is no comparison between what a storied program like Tennessee is capable of with a team that has numbers almost as bad as Vanderbilt. Prior to Steve Spurrier, Carolina had done nothing of note. |

Spurrier and Gators also wanted 3 more points in 2001...34-32 (Vols were 18 point underdogs). |

| I dont know if we will win a national championship in next 20 years. 47 separated our last 2. What I do believe we will win is a couple SEC championships and maybe play for 1 or 2 more that we may come up short. I also feel if Dooley can survive his ability to recruit great receivers and if we get the right timing with a very good qb then we can have a Heisman winner finally. |
