Did it ever occur to anyone that dooleys idea of good means championship caliber? I dont take it as being negative. It just tells me that until our run game is championship caliber dooley wont call us "good." Until our whole team is championship caliber dooley wont call us "good." I appreciate that. | Very well said. Dooley doesn't want to settle for ok. He wants the best out of his players. |

Check out interviews etc, and compare them to this year.
Dooley has been extremely positive and in a very good mood when talking about the team this year. I think for the first time since he has been at UT, he finally feels like he has a football team and not half of an excuse for one.
I also want to point out the difference in our players, you can tell they are much more confident, much happier and more mature. The players that need to step up and lead have acknowledged that, and stepped up to try and meet the challenge.
Despite the media and negavols trying to jump off the deep-end over speculative misinformation, This team has held together and bonded.
If you insist on continuing to spew your hate, I can't stop you. But no matter how hard you yell, how many times you call in to the radio shows and say the same thing every day. That ambiance gives me confidence in saying.
You can't stop what is going to happen this year, We win 10, and more then 1 of those "signature" wins everyone cries about. Dooley will finally get the recognition he deserves for great job he has done over the past couple years considering what he was given to start with. | EXCELLENT post. Quote:

| Does every thread turn into a 311 thread now? And I must be way off on their stuff, I've been saying amber is the color for years. You know that feeling you get when you realize you've been doing or saying something wrong for a long time and everyone has just been letting you? That's how my morning is starting. |

Well, it seems that some of those predictions were right, I wonder what they will say next year. | Even Kiffin said the as much. |

| I can't blame some for wanting to win instead of always losing. But our roster of mostly sophs and frosh were playing mature and experienced SEC ready players. Men against boys. Players with hundreds of reps vs. new kids trying to figure things out. Because of the lack of depth, Dooley was forced to play kids out of position, and play kids just out of HS and walk ons. The staff couldn't run a full play book with new people just learning the schemes, were limited in making adjustments needed for the second halves in some games, and had to take too many risks in games just to have a chance to win. Freshmen who should be getting reps with a redshirt had to play immediately.
For the DD critics, I don't know if he is the Messiah or not. He seems to be doing the right things to get back on track. The depth is finally getting there to compete with the likes of NC State, MSU, Vandy and maybe GA, FL, MO and SC. We are still not deep enough to compete with bammer or LSU yet, but another year or 2 of recruiting should do it. We are now in a position to pull an upset or 2 vs a top tier team, but also could be way laid by somebody. A coaching change now with Sunseri and the boys just getting started would be a big set back now and if you think with your head and not your heart, you would realize that. Hart does. |

It's Spring. Positivity and overreaction of good and bad runs rampant throughout spring. | This. |

The very basis of our cause/effect existence has been radically altered. Life as we know it has changed. As a matter of fact, it has probably ended, since the gravitational draw of the sun no longer keeps the Earth in its orbit and we are even now spiraling into space.
Or... The previous velocity of the Earth could not be a cause for spiraling into space, so have we just stopped?
This will get confusing. |
