Strange, for the number 3 QB in the nation. | Two different people with two different opinions. I'll agree that Ainge's view is extreme. I don't agree with him in that the quarterback position is a question mark, but I don't necessarily agree with the other guy's opinion of Bray being the #3 qb in the nation right now either. He's a good quarterback.....but he's still got alot to prove.

| True, but being called the #3 QB in the nation is closer to reality than saying he might lose his job to Worley or the true-freshman Peterman. Quote:

You just want him to fail, to hell with the team.
That makes you a troll. A butthurt troll, no doubt, but still a troll..
Now, back to your bridge. |

I see you conviently ignored the rest of my post, just so it doesn't make you look like a bigger fool than you already are. |

That is NOT what 'the nfl scout' said. Nor is it what the article-writer said. HE said that Bray is the number 3 QB in the country. That's a far cry from close to being beaten out by a backup.
Now, li'l Erik gets to eat his words.
Eat that, Ainge, you talentless hack.
AINGE needs to mature some, and go back to Oregon. He sucked as a QB, he sucks as a radio guy.
He plain sucks. | 1) Erik Ainge has nothing to do with this thread, and you are just trolling. You also completely took out of context what he said.
Let's see: Erik was a 3 year starter at an SEC school, drafted in the NFL, lived his dream of being an NFL QB, has his own radio show, and made millions in his life.
I'd hate to see how much you suck.

You're the biggest anti-vol troll on these boards. | Total bull****. Said the quarterback is good, but needed to win games.

I even gave the link to the segment, so everyone could listen for themselves.
YOU are the one now trying to change what he said.
He said it, and there's really nothing you can do to change that. That's what's cool about this new-fangled internet thing, everything is recorded and saved for posterity.

I'd hate to see how much you suck. | Here are the comments from Ainge (linked from another thread) so everyone can decide for themselves. Quote:
Top to bottom, that's gonna be the strength of our team (linebackers).
That'll be the identity(of the team), the linebackers, and the wide receivers.
The quarterback's, you know, the quarterbacks good, we'll see, you know, we'll see how that goes, that's still a question mark.
Believe it or not, people, that's still a question mark. Until those big games start getting won, it's a question mark.

Mmmkay? | I did listen. I heard him say "the quarterback is good" and then say "Until those big games become wins, the quarterback is still a question mark." That's not saying he's losing his job, that's saying Bray has to win those games before he can become an elite quarterback. I didn't hear Worley or Peterman's name, did you? Nope.

The answer to this question will determine whther he becomes great or just a talented player with unfulfilled potential. Big dollars await if he gets really serious starting this fall. |

If you can't be bothered to do that, then your opinion is worth squat. |

| He may have gone thru the entire 2 deep a some point during this show or the previous week. But based off the comments you linked, you have injected the idea that he meant Bray may not be the starter which is obviously false. His comments about Bray were directed specifically toward winning big games. If that made you mad, thats fine you have every right to get upset if you disagree with that.
Of course thats a little hard to argue at this point, because we haven't won a "big" game in several years now and that dates back before Bray. So his point there is valid.

It sounds to me like you're trying to say
""although he was talking about starters up to that point, once he got to the QB position he was no longer talking about who would be the starter""
And it's just not true. Listen to the audio. It's as clear as day. |

If you have something against Ainge from years past or mad that he raised the point that Bray is yet to win a big game thats fine. You dont have to inject any ideas past that. |
