I hear that Bray is

doing all the right things this off-season. On the Erik Ainge show this A.M., he reported that Bray has really matured and is doing what it takes to become a leader of the team. Ainge made mention of several visits Bray has made to local schools, etc.. doing Community work. He talked about how Bray's attitude and doing the right things can make the difference in making several millions of dollars as a high draft pick vs. teams not wanting to take a chance on you due to your attitude, etc...

Ainge hates Bray and Tennessee. And loves ESPN.

I think Bray needs to do those things because he wants to, not because he's worried about the big bucks coming from the NFL. I know some people may only care about money, but I'd like to think Bray is a good guy who is truly willing to lead his team. JMO.

Who says he isn't? I would imagine Ainge was simply commenting that by doing things the right way, in addition to leading this team, Bray could also be earning himself some extra dollars. Nearly every one of us went to college hoping to earn as much as we possibly could someday, football players are no different. (Except for all the Bentleys and coke)

I was just going of what I read in the post. I'm not saying Bray shouldn't have expectations for his future; I just think there is more to it than that. I agree with you.

I bet t doesn't matter on bit to the kids he visits weather he's there to help his image or out of the goodness of his heart, and isn't it all really about the kids?! For real though it can't do anything but help draft stock if the community sees you as a person who gives back. Hopefully these are some of the lessons these players are learning outside of school and the playbook, how to be a better man off the field.

Disagree a little. He's the starting QB. For better or worse, he's one of the guy that sets the tone.

He can pistol whip old ladies and steal candy from orphans as long as he does what it takes to be a leader on this team.

This is one of the dumber things I've read on here. I would hope you realize that after re-reading it.

I'm sure it matters to him, and should to us, unless we see football players as livestock.
