| Trout I'm not a big fan of Dooley's record so far either but I'm willing to give him this year before passing judgement on him, if he loses this season I can see Dool ey can't win as a fair argument and to be honest I think He and Hart cee it that was too. Dooleys entire career has built up to this one season and his future at UT and any other school is going to come down to how he preforms this year IMO. |

| | Lets start some Bullmess | D. Rodgers 5*
Patterson 5*
Hunter 4*
Just thinking about having them all on the field next year gives me permagrin.
You think any coach will be brave enough press and blitz with those horses running. I sure hope so. Its been a LONG time since we had this kind of Offensive Firepower

Look at the man's track record. what has he ever done in his entire career that would lead anyone to forecast SEC championships in his future? He inherited a mess, and is helping to recruit out of the talent void, but a great game day coach/strategist he is not IMO. Heck, I am not sure if he is even an average level DivI coach. He recruits well no doubt, but the products he has put on the field at his two jobs have been much less than good. I see nothing in this coach that says to me: "there is future greatness here". Sorry, just my opinion. But i believe everyone will be waiting a very long time if they believe DD will lead the Vols to any championships. |
Comments above are a great recruiting tool for Arkansas and Texas, probably anyone else too targeting a player we covet. Brooktrout the double agent.

And, after that comment, this year, I need Chaney and Palardy to man up to save face |
Word is Palardy and Darr didn't get coaching. maybe their lack of performance was a reflection of this. i even recall Darr saying he had met one of our former kickers in Colorado who gave him some tips. Reading between the lines even then I got the impression the kid was looking for help he wasn't getting on the UT campus.

| The passing game has potential and will most likely be the strength of the team. They need to be able to run the ball when they need the tough yard. As far as the defense goes. I don't see anything spectacular. If it could just be solid it could be the best year we've had in at least 4 years. |

This will be the first time he has coached a team with enough talent to be worth a crap. I'm not going to try to sell Dooley as the second coming of Neyland. None of us knows. Let's reconvene in 10 months. We should have a much better idea. |
