Tennessee: Sources close to the situation tell us Dooley's first call was to Clemson defensive coordinator Kevin Steele. Clemson plays tomorrow. We suspect Dooley will have his new coordinator by the end of the week. |

Sorry guys i think if we pulll this guy we dont win on defense it will be with offense we need shannon i think his scheme would work with the speed and talent we have and can get with shannon at the helm |

| So where did Zasnow and other insiders get all the Randy Shannon to UT rumors? There was/is way too much smoke for there not to be a fire. I'm hoping it's Randy Shannon. |

| I prefer RS also. If UT hired Steele and Brooks, combined with Jay Graham it could really bolster recruiting in both North and South Carolina. |

| Steele is the logical choice if he will come. The OC at Clemson just got a huge raise, probably not enough left in the coffers to keep KS. He is a top notch recruiter, an alum and probably sees the cupboard here is much better than what he has in Tiggertown cow college. We may be able to convince Rodney Garner to come back, bring in Napier for special teams/recievers, which would give us an awesome group of recruiters. |
