| I will give you credit for Chaney. I have just about enough of him BUT why the Kiffin tale.
My arguement would be this. Kiffin had no college coaching experience and was 5 and 15 in the NFL. He came to TN and was 6-7 with most of those wins coming from lesser opponent and some senior NFL players on his roster.
Dooley comes from LA Tech also a losing record and his first season has the exact same record in his first year and NOW has to clean up the mess Kiffin helped make with NO seniors that will be playing anywhere but the Arena Football League next year. If Dooley was to bolt to a USC or loaded school yeah I bet he will look like a genius too. |

I wouldn't mind if that play was just completely removed from the playbook. I have to get completely hammered to make it through the games these days so my memory may be off, but, is that the first time this year that play has actually worked? |

| Has nothing to do with whether he can or cannot coach, but thanks for playing. And furthering the ex-gf stereotype |

| it may be painful to admit, but its becoming obvious that of all the f-ups hambone hired, kiffen is turning out to be the only one who knows his a-- from a hole in the ground. |

| Kiffin makes better game day decisions than CDD. He makes much worse "life" decisions than CDD. To deny it one has to deny reality - which happens a lot unfortunately. |

| I think USC has far more talent than us. I know they do. It's easier to recruit there too. Not too many top programs in that region to compete against like there is in the SEC. Kiffen has a good staff. I like our staff, but am not sold on all our assistants yet. I think Dooley is what we need from an administrative standpoint, but I think we might need some help at OC and possibly on the O line. We probably need one more year to evaluate this staff as a whole due to a shortage of talant and players. If Dooley is successful here, I don't anticipate having all this staff around. Some will be replaced, and one may leave for bigger things after a few years. A head coach can be made or destroyed by coodinators too. |
