| 2012 will be a success if... we win how many games?
The number for me is 9.
So, in short answer form, how many games do we need to win for you to think it's "going in the right direction"?
I don't care what kind of coach you think CDD is. Go post that info in one of the 100 other threads.
yes, I know we are not sure what the full schedule will be but there is enough information available for me to believe we will win 9.
EDIT: Assuming there are not any major injuries. Thanks Carlitovol
Go!

| Agreed on SEC wins.. IMO we should at least have a shot at the East coming down the home stretch.. If winning 9 means we are one of the top 2 teams in the East, then I'm OK with that.
Bottom line, 9 or 10* and I'm comfortable. 8 would be on the "bubble" for me.. Anything less than 8 and I would give serious thought to joining the anti-CDD crowd.
*Assuming we don't lose any of our best players to major injuries. |

| Depends on circumstances(injuries, etc) but 8 wins and a complete game effort in all the games. Improvement in line play. Improved defensive play, less big plays and mental mistakes lined up wrong, bad angles). Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Min of 8 wins and I think it should be 9 and possibly 10 with an upset. Wont be disappointed if the upset doesn't as long as we say the improvement needed. I probably will still not call for his head if we win 7 in the reg. season because of how bad we need the 2013 class to stay in-tact. I think the 2013 class is gonna be a real good one, top 5 possibly. |

| 9 wins, period. we should have enough depth to overcome anything that comes along next year. |

| 9-10.
If you look at the schedule, with half of Alabama's defense going pro and at home, we've got a chance to run the table. Probably have to beat LSU in the SECCG if we do that tho, which might not happen.
Arkansas is at home, hich will help.
Florida should be even worse imo.
Georgia? We a better offensive game plan I think we should of beaten them this year. Next year is at Athens and could be interesting however.

| We have 6 straight up gimmes. South Carolina should be a win.
I forget how the rest of the schedule shakes out. |

| 9 Games should be good..10-11 be great and 12 I will color my hair orange..btw..with hunter and bray we could have easily had 8-4 or 9-3 season this year...so 9-3 shouldnt be tough to achieve next year... |

| Depending on how the rest of the schedule plays out id like 8-9 wins to consider it sufficient progress. (obviously assuming no major injuries or snafoos (sp?))
But that being said 10 wins shouldnt be completely out of the question though we will need to make huge strides in a lot of areas, especially in the running game consistency, to even have a shot at sniffing that number |

| At least 10, Alabama might be the only returning ranked team we play.

| 2012 will be a successful season if we win the SEC Championship.
2012 will be an acceptable season if we see a better product on the field than we did in 2011. |
