Anyone with a semblance of a football IQ that followed Tennessee football could tell that Fulmer became too involved in the play calling with both Sanders and Clawson not letting either run the offense. Clawson may have been the coach to run the new offense but Fulmer wouldn't allow him and we all know Clawson knew way more about it than Fulmer did!

Clawson knew more about being a bottom dweller, running the offense down to about 113th in the NCAA

Whatever

the guy won a national championship at Richmond just one year prior to coming to Knoxville. He forgot more about offense on his very worst day than you will ever know on your best day.

Ok, is it Fulmer's fault for not letting the offensive guru Clawson run the offense?, OR, is is Fulmer's fault for supporting his hiring? I know it's Fulmers fault to you, so which is it. Im sure you can twist it around and say both are true.

Twist on !!

As head coach, CEO, President, Quarterback, etc., you are given the glory whether you deserve it or not. So when your Team, Company, Country, etc, falls on hard times then you will also receive the blame. It is the nature of the beast and you accepted it once you accepted the position. Whether you or anyone else likes it or not, Fulmer hired the assistants, recruited the players, and was the head coach of the team. As such, when the team starts sucking it is his fault, plain and simple. Does it matter whether Dave Clawson was terrible because he knew nothing about coaching or because Fulmer micromanaged? To me, no. Fulmer is to blame no matter which one is true...

I somewhat agree. We have some on here that blame Fulmer for every loss, but the wins were because he was "lucky" or inherited juggernauts. He cant be blamed forever, sorry. At some point the CPF haters are gonna have to blame the new regime.

CPF Haters, lmao, the last 4 senior classes can be blamed on Phil, the rebuilding of a depleted roster can be blamed on Phil and the pains we have endured the past 3 years from having to rebuild can be blamed on Phil. That is not hating that is simply stating facts.

Fairly correct. And give him credit for the good (which I am currently compiling) and we will be all good. Can we all just get along now? -- the post concerning all the good will dwarf your above post about the bad. Greatly.

And I'm not hating when I say you are wrong..the problem is we Sh**t on phil in the middle of another top 10 recruiting season and replaced him with a douche who brought in 15 problem children and then Sh**t on us and made us burn our matrresses and then to beg a 4th choice coach to come in and salvage another recruiting class is our problem with the last 4 years roster.. Thats what I'm saying bro no hate!
Oh Yeah..and.. our defense hasnt played with violence since chavis left..roll that up and smoke it Crispy Creme Haters! You Know its the TRUTH!
Crispy Creme should make an ELEPhant donut named the FAT PHIL cause he owned the tide and I want to buy them and eat them and remember what it felt like!
