| He redshirted last year, but I'm pretty sure he could apply for a medical redshirt & get granted an extra year. I think it was a good idea to not play him, give him 2 full years to recover & be able to go through the Spring & Wylies strength program for a full year. He will add very good depth next season. | |

| really need him to get back to 100% for depth next year. That '09 recruiting class has really dwindled on DB's, a position we thought we were set at. | |

I think we decided that he would have a shot at a medical hardship, but he would have to apply for a 6th season at the end of his senior year and provide extensive documentation that he was physically unable to play for the entire 2010 season.
I hope that he plays well enough the next two seasons that he won't need to apply for another year of eligibility. | |
