Dooley and staff

I know about the "what ifs" but fact is UT played well against a ranked team and should have won the game. All the Dooley haters would be saying what a great coach he is...etc. I hated seeing UT lose like that, and my opinion is just another, but I do think there was more than one penalty on the botched snap play.

I doubt that very seriously.
If UT went undefeated the rest of the season, they'd still find something to complain about.
It's just who they are.

Keep it in perspective guys. We have played 3 top 10 teams. One of them on the road and all against superior talent. Playing freshman and walk-on that play their guts out. Most teams even have 15 more players than we have. Considering all this these coaches have done a great job. I say get behind this team now and when we start playing for championships they will be all the sweeter. Go Vols!!

No need for it. He isn't getting fired after one year but he will get fired, eventually.

thought tenn played with improvement, but last play shows dooley is not ready for the bigtime. him in wilcox may grow into there roles but they are a work in progress and tenn is going to lose alot of games over the next 5 years thanks to those two.

I do not feel like that one play showed lack of big time readiness, but feel like he is analytical enough to find and resolve the coaching issues.

If after this season of getting his coaching strategies implemented such faults are still occurring then a serious problem may be at hand.

But at least their grammar and spelling are correct.

Why should they have won? Because they had half as many offensive yards as LSU?

Tennessee got outgained 2-1. How is that a game "they should have won?"

Ridiculous. As I said in your own post.

We have to play a "bend don't break" philosophy thanks to the Hambone Experiment. It was exactly what was called for against this LSU team which was prone to big mistakes, and it delivered the goods.

Now, you can ask, how the hell does LSU get away with that first play? - and indeed I do. You can also ask, how the hell did we get confused by Les Miles? - and indeed I do.

To all the "blue hairs" on here

Ok so I'm so sick and tired of all the old "blue hairs" on here that are calling for Dooley's head and talking all this b.s. about him! I mean what do you all really expect in his first season? We are young and we don't have much depth.I mean this isn't the 90's anymore and you all need to quit acting like it is. Even though we lost yesterday, I am still very proud of our team. If everybody can't support our team and quit crying about everything then maybe you shouldn't even watch the games. If our fans can't get behind Dooley than maybe you should just get the #%*$ out because I'm tired of all the negativity around here! I'm sure that this will probably get a lot of people bashing me but I don't care because I'm a REAL FAN and I support my team and I support Dooley! He has shown his passion for this team and he will eventually get our team back to a prestigous level again. I'm sure once that happens everybody will jump on the bandwagon. I don't want you there if you can't support him now when times are tough. We are getting better every week and I'm so excited about what our future holds and I will be there supporting them and singing ROCKY TOP as loud as I can. GO VOLS!

You know almost as much about English as you do football.
