| Our football fans are feared!!!
I was listening to the Dan Patrick show yesterday (Best show on radio by the way) and of course the big story was Lebron. The questioned was asked if their car broke down who would get a ride 1st ,Lebron James in Cleveland or Lame Kiffin in Tennessee? Without Hesitation the Executive Producer and radio personality Paul Pabst said " Listen, I have nothing against Cleveland and their fans, their great people, BUT Tennessee football fans are very very serious people" then Dan said " Very Very serious!" and it got real quiet for a second and you could hear the other guys in the back just mumble "yea... yea...".
I listen to all the shows via podcast because I work the night shift, so I can do that and I have never heard the kind of seriousness in the guy’s voice when talking about someone’s fans. I mean the whole show their going on and on about how Cleveland fans are burning jerseys and have been betrayed over and over, yet when Tennessee Football fans are mentioned the mood got real serious and we were picked without hesitation.
I don't know about yall but I LOVE this. Eagles, Yankees, Raiders, Red sox etc etc.. Are always getting credit on how passionate and serious their fans take their team. It’s about time were starting to get more National recognition on How passionate our fans are and How seriously we take TN football.

The best ESPN Radio ever had it was Kornheiser then DP. That made for a great 6 hours of the workday.
BTW - the reason DP left ESPN was because the execs wanted him to gain about 30 pounds and then go on Nutri-System to lose it for advertising purposes. | |
