Tennessee O-line Question?

In one of the latest addition of Athlon Sports Magazine it list all of our Offensive line and well I took count and it said we had 15. Now I noticted that we seem to have as many as everybody around us. So the question I have is what exactly the problem with our depth. Just wondering.

uhhh....walk-ons, lack of experience, size, around 6 of them are freshmen, converted D-line moved to O-line. No returning starters!

Oh so moreless we have depth everybody just thinks it SUCKS.

Lack of experience and talent. Aaron Douglas quit, so there's only 14. GA has the #1 rated line. They have 20 listed. Four of their five linemen are returning starters, plus a backup who started before he was injured.

Not necessarily that they suck. They're young and inexperienced.

Ok so let me get this straight even tho we dont have expereience we have a foundation to work with.

We are EXTREMELY young on the OL front, and we are barely 2 deep. If we have any injuries, it will suck, but we will do the best we can, when it happens.

Having 15 O-Line doesn't mean much at this point. If we don't have anyone who develops over the summer and coming out of fall camp, other than probably starters, will are going to suffer this season. Hopefully, Dooley's theory of great RB's holds true, and Poole and Oku break one off in the SEC.

I stand corrected. Still extremely young. I have heard it said that this bunch of upper classmen isn't very impressive or the walk-on Sullens brothers wouldn't have beat them out. I do like the fact that by November James, Stone, Fulton, and Pair will have lots of experience and won't be considered freshmen anymore.

Wow can you imagine James, Stone, Fulton, Phair, Gooch, and Schofield along with what we can bring in. By 2012 we are going to have one heck of a O- Line. Also O'neil and Oku are going to be beast and just imagine all the receiver we have. IF they can all develop we are going to be close to full strenght by 2012.

Yes, I can. It's going to be rough the first 8 games this year, but I expect to see drastic improvement in 2011. Not championship improvement, but highly competitive improvement.
