This should be fun.
A good reason why the playoff system in football would fail miserably is what happened here. Look at how many teams with 10 losses are in the tournament. Heck, Gtown has 10 losses and they are a 3 seed. Ten losses and they are positioned as one of the contenders! This is absolutely a joke. Professional wrestling is more ethical. And now they are talking about putting in 96 teams. Why does Miss State get snubbed? Why did they put Vandy and Fla in the same bracket? Who the he11 is Notre Dame and Minnesota? Why are they in the tourney? Neither won their conference tourney right?
This is all just a big money making scheme and this is why during the month of December and really, most of the season you have half-packed houses all across the country.
This is my vote to keep college football the way it is. At least you are guaranteed that the two best teams won't have double-digit losses (there are 18 in the tourney and one with 15 losses!).
After the season tn had and there is still only a 6 seed, it just further proves my point: The regular season in Bball is pointless. The regular season in football is maddening compared to this!

Glorified beauty pageant is basically what they made this tournament selection into. Obvious biased for Duke and a few other teams like Notre Dame make this year a absolute joke. No way i waste my time scheduling tough opponents nextr year if i'm Bruce. Sounds like what he needs to be doing is a better job of brown nosing some of the Duke and Notre Dame fans on the committee.

Its a joke. Fla. gets a 10 seed. Miss St took Ky to overtime in two games and beat Fla in SEC tourney and not get in. Tenn getting a 6 seed is messed up. They were 14 in coaches poll. Syracuse and Duke getting a No 1 West Virginia should have got a No 1.
