Still, it's ignorant to pretend that all they do is hand out speeding tickets, even if they are dicks. There's much more to the job.
Anyways, I'm out broseph.

I have dismissed most of these posts due to knowing that a majority of them are made by young adults who still have issues with authority. But, I just want to take the time to point something out in this post.. I agree that I'm not a big fan of handing out tickets, but the tazers, guns, and "riot sticks", issued to police have saved countless lives including lives of criminals.
I have worked at the local, State, and Federal level and trust me when I say that these cops that exhibit the characteristics that you guys don't like are not liked by their peers. However, I would ask that you not judge all LE officers by one encounter with them as I would not judge anyone after one encounter. Imagine working in the ghetto one minute and the next you are answering an accident call or something mundane. Can you understand that changing ones attitude within minutes to handle the situations could be difficult? Not everyone can adjust. | Cops are paid by taxpayers to protect and serve taxpayers. If one can't adjust his attitude from one situation to the next, then he is probably in the wrong line of work. |
