| Vanderbilt is just a bad match up for us And, of course, as I'm typing, the ESPN guy makes the point. But, Vanderbilt is a big, physical team and that just gives us problems, especially if the refs let them play. It's not an excuse for getting piss pounded, but I noticed this in Knoxville and a rough, physical team will give us issues. I really hope we don't see Michigan State in the tourney.
You can see it with the chippy play, mostly instigated by Vandy. They want to rough you up and knock you off of your rhythmn and we mentally and physically struggle with this. I don't think Kentucky is the same, but will be more athletic than Vandy on Saturday. |

| This team has a problem when things get tough. Fall behind by double digits and its over. Exception is Ole miss at home. Georgia ran away, USC ran away and now Vandy is running away at home. Im not sure what can be done to fix the away game issues. |

If you think Vandy is physical, you might as well not even watch the UK game. |

| LOL at the "bad matchup" excuse.

Stop making excuses. The team has rolled over 3 times this year. UT specializes in knocking teams out of rhythm. |

| Vandy just plays smart, something we don't, that's the difference. Vandy isn't that good, but they're better than Tennessee obviously.

| Yeah, one team has a coach (and apparently some paid refs). |

| Maybe I should've waited until you girls weren't so emotional to look at this analytically and not just react to one damn game to judge the entire season. My mistake.
In all seriousness, Kentucky is not as physical as Vanderbilt, but they are more athletic and talented. It's all about match-ups, so we'll see how Tennessee matches up against the Cats. It's why we beat Kansas and nearly Purdue, but lose by 10+ to Vandy twice. |
