Anyway, at some point, this has to come to a head, the "you're stupid" , "no you're stupid" back and forth has run its course.
Regardless, I still don't see what's so difficult to understand about one team being more physical than another, even though the other team is better. UNLV in the early 90's had the best defensive team I ever saw and they weren't that physical, either. | My post where I discussed the players you named as being more physical than UK's. |

Kentucky doesn't play that physical brand of basketball on defense like Vanderbilt, that's been my theme. What else did you want? Do you want me to direct you to the same valid point I've made again and again? |

When that team needed it, LJ creamed people and they cleaned the glass, which is the height of physical, like nobody else. LJ alone made them unbelievably physical, but Augmon and Anthony got chest to chest with everyone they played. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Yeah, Augmon was such an intimidator. UNLV was a nightmare on defense because they pressured you and forced turnovers. The Amoeba Defense was based upon trapping and pressure, not physicality like Michigan State. Johnson was tough, like Ackles, but that wasn't their identity. |

Most teams are beat when they take the floor just by looking at Ogilvy. He is clearly the most physical player in college basketball. Cousins was scared to death when they played the cats. He was just lucky to dominate Ogilvy in that game. Kentucky only has about 8-9 players that play more physical than Vandy. |

| what makes my blood BOIL is how predictable we are. I can almost guarantee you every game Prince will do something stupid and have 3-4 turnovers. Hopson will play ghost ball, he just is a waste of talent. Maze will clank several bad shots, as well as Goins. The only consistant player is Chism.
When I watch other teams play, they have several players that can play multiple roles and then I watch us and we are so simple and predictable. A good gameplan will beat this team 9 out of 10 times, they just aren't very good. UK will run them out of the gym by mid first half. |

Posted via VolNation Mobile | Imagine how tough UNLV would have been if they could have had a couple guys as tough as Tinsley and Ogilvy. |
