| Point guard play It seems to me we would be better having JP at the Point. Maze can start the game. Defenses do not respect his shooting ability. Best lineup for us JP, Hopson, Smith, Chism, Tatum. C'mon playing against a zone defense, you got Tatum and Hopson at the wings. one of em' will surely get off. consider the last 2 postseason, Coach P also ends playing JP at the point. Goins is doing great, he is playing ball hawking "up in your grill defense". |

| NCAA tournament game against Butler comes to mind. Not pretty.
BTW, was anyone else surprised that it was Goins in at the end of the game yesterday instead of Maze? I didn't have any sound, so was there some explanation for it?

| The explanation was that Maze had played terrible to that point and Goins had played not as terrible and actually played some defense and hit a few shots. |

| JP is turnover and a bad shot waiting to happen. I was wondering why Goins was in the game instead of maze at the end of the game too. |

It's quotes like this that cause me to keep 911 on speed dial. *in best Dick Vitale voice* 'JP Prince is turnover city baby'. I'd turn the game off and probably never watch anymore if Pearl starts JP at the point. Oh man would I be pissed lol! |

| JP is the third best PG on the team right now (and that's best-case scenario). He plays HORRIBLY running the point. Melvin Goins is our best PG, and needs to get the majority of the PT there as long as he stays healthy. |

| you guys forget how active JP was 2 yrs ago. if Tatum and Hopson start shooting like JaJuan and Chris he will be free to crash the boards again IE the Memphis and Florida games in 07/08 season. when McBee gets finds the mark"which he is real close to doing. JP and Maze can fight over the 8th spot in the rotation. Goins is the best defensively.
What does Woolridge do in the offseason? he has to find speciality. Coach needs to make him bang around in the paint for a while. |
