What's the "E" patch on the left shoulder of the jerseys?

Anyone know what the significance is of the "E" patch on the left shoulder of the bball jersey?

It's for Emanuel Negadu, he was diagnosed with cardio myopathy. During practice he collapsed unconscious and a defibrillator was used to revive him.

I hope they ask Jimmy Hyams before they printed those patches. Or at least told him. Two hissy fits in one week can't be a good thing.

It is a gesture for E-man.

In case you didn't know. He suffered a pretty bad cardiac problem in fall practice, forced him out for the season and may be derailing his career as a basketball player. He will be missed.

E-man is awesome, a buddy of mine is a basketball team manager and i have been able to chill with them all of those guys. E man is going to be ok. His spirits are still very high, its unreal the spirit he can bring a team even when he isnt playing
