Bruce Pearl Show

Last night after the North Alabama exhibition game, Bruce made one interesting and hopefully accurate comment. He said the team would be lifting and looking at film tomorrow, Sunday would be a full practice and early Monday the team would get in a workout because Bruce is leaving out Monday on a recruiting trip to "Close the deal on a couple big prospects because this is such an importing recruiting year!" I hope this means Harris and Pinkston. In my opinion, Pearl needs both of these guys to keep from having a hugely disappointing 2010 class. Maybe it means nothing but those comments got me pumped about our chances of landing them.

If he can somehow, someway manage to get Tobias Harris, I will completely forgive him for the Josh Selby debacle.

You can't blame Pearl for Selby's treason. He and his mother were influenced by out side people.

I think it was more that both parties involved just lost interest, and I don't think Bruce showed the love Sebly wanted him too. But it is what it is. According to Hat & others, Selby is a potential cancer, so maybe it's a good thing.
